Yellow Protects Your Shipments
We know how important it is to you that we move your goods to their destinations damage free and on time. We designed our new Velocity network with that in mind: Less handling of your shipments reduces the risk of damage, and more-direct routing with fewer highway miles gets your products to their destinations faster. But our redesigned network is just part of the solution. We also use equipment specifically designed to safeguard your products:
  • Logistics post trailers are equipped with shoring and decking beams that lock into position in trailers to secure and protect shipments from damage caused by shifting and stacking.
  • We employ inflatable air bags to brace your goods in place after they’re loaded onto a trailer. The air bags eliminate shifting during transportation, and because they’re reusable, we minimize waste and protect the environment.
  • We use strong and durable high-quality, tri-wall cardboard to surround and protect your goods while they’re in transit.

If your Order has not been shipped and you decide to cancel, a refund will be gladly given upon our discretion, some fees will apply. See return policy.

However any Order Cancelled or Refused after it has been shipped will have All Restock, All Freight & All handling Charges deducted from any credit issued.
TO THE CONSIGNEE
( RECEIVER ) OF GOODS ORDERED!
In the rare case of a damaged shipment, it is imperative that you note any irregularities on the Bill of Lading. 
Carton ( box ) holes, Dents, tears, etc. MUST BE NOTED on all copies of the form the driver gives you to sign when you are accepting delivery. If you sign for a package and DO NOT note any irregularities 
there is little King Solomon cages or the Good News Manufacturing can do.
To Avoid problems with “Hidden Damage”
You MUST OPEN THE CRATE (BOX) and inspect the product while the freight driver is  still present! (They must stay at least 15 minutes)
If they do not wait you must note” THE DRIVER DID NOT WANT TO WAIT” on all copies of the shipping form.
At this time, if you do find damage you have choices:
1. Accept shipment– If you feel this is something you can correct yourself.  This can be a time saver(We can send parts if applicable)
2. Refuse shipment- the product will be shipped back to King Solomon Cages’ warehouse, fixed here and sent back in a timely manner.

If you choose not open the freight at time of delivery and you find “Hidden Damage”   You must call us within 24 hours of shipping. And please retain the original containers and packing for the inspectors and for shipment back. You will be responsible to crate the shipment and for costs in crating and shipping!

If severe damage is present please refuse shipment and call King Solomon Cages!

More detailed Information

  1. Your Credit Card will be charged in full at the time the order is processed. 

  2. Allow 8-12 weeks delivery on standard shipments

  3. Any Orders Cancelled prior to shipping will be subject to a 0-20% restock charge, depending the orders process and any credit card fees.

  4. Any Orders Cancelled after the merchandise has shipped will be subject to a 35% restock charge and the customer is responsible for all costs for receiving and returning all merchandise to King Solomon Cages warehouse. All products and packaging must be in original and sellable condition any alterations to original products or packaging may result in additional charges above the 35% restocking charge. (Example: Items returned in a box other than the original packaging, it may become damaged which makes it impossible to sell as new merchandise)

  5. Any Order that has VISIBLE DAMAGEmust be refused!,  Please notify the sales department of this refusal and we will reship your order in a timely manner.

  6. YOU MUST OPEN THE CRATE AT TIME OF DELIVERY to avoid problems with “Hidden Damage”. The freight driver must stay 15 minutes for you to inspect. Please have tools available. Refuse shipment if you do find damage-unless you are willing to take care of the damage yourself, sometime this is a time saver. (If need be, we can help by sending parts if applicable and you can file a claim with the shipping company, for any costs, but you must retain your receipts).

  7. If an item has “Hidden Damage” because you choose NOT to open it at time of delivery, please call our sales department  within 24 hours of delivery. You will be responsible for re-crating the shipment to send it back and cost of shipments, so please save all crating material.

  8. Residential, Tailgate, Re-Delivery or any other additional service that a commercial freight carrier may offer is subject to the cost associated with them and is collected C.O.D. by the delivering freight line or  King Solomon Cages can charge this fee in advance upon product ordering. Our shippers provide “Curb Side Delivery Only” to one location. It is therefore understood that the customer receiving his/her shipment must have the means of removing the merchandise off the back of a commercial freight truck. There is always an option that the customer may retrieve his/her shipment from a local freight terminal at no additional charge. The location of this terminal may vary. It is understood that proceeding with this order you have read and agreed with the statement above. These Terms and Conditions are stated here so you will have a good understanding of what to expect. These are conditions that have arose over the years and we wish only to give you an idea what to expect. We know how to give good service, fine products, fair pricing and a helpful hand when needed. Truck Deliveries – (Does Not Apply to UPS Deliveries)
Commercial Truck Freight Lines offer what is termed “Curbed Side Delivery” which means it is the responsibility for the customer who is receiving the shipment to have the means to unload what ever is being delivered. An example of this would be a forklift or loading dock for items that can not be lifted off by hand.
King Solomon Cages can request that the delivering freight line call our customer prior to delivery to make additional arraignments. Please note it is not the responsibility of King Solomon Cages to contact customers with delivery information; we do this as a courtesy. Any customers wanting the delivering PRO number from the freight line should call King Solomon Cages @ 800-960-8686 option 2 and one will be provided. Any costs for these additional services (Tailgate, Residential, etc) are the customer’s responsibility. (We can arrange these extra services upon original order)
The three options available for truck deliveries are the following:

Business Deliveries – No additional charges will be incurred as long as there is a forklift or dock where the merchandise can de offloaded from the tractor trailer. If you require “Tailgate Service” you could be charged for that service King Solomon Cages is not responsible for that charge. Tailgate Charges may vary our experience is that “Tailgate Charges Deliveries” to a business usually run about $30.00 – $50.00 however it could be higher

Residential Deliveries – Commercial Freight Lines have the right to charge an additional fee over the basic freight charge for Residential Deliveries with or without tailgate service. This fee is an additional charge imposed by the freight line and King Solomon Cages is not responsible for these charges. You can arrange this additional service with the freight line and pay them directly or King Solomon Cages. Residential/Tailgate Charges may vary our experience is that “Tailgate Charges Deliveries” to a residence usually run about $50.00 however it could be higher

Terminal Pick Up – We have found that this is a good alternative if you choose not to have your shipment sent to a residential address or the business location. This allows some leeway to you as far as your time since many terminals have extended hours and some are even open on the weekend.

King Solomon Cages requests that you consider one of the above mentioned deliveries means prior to placing an order; this reduces confusion and frustration when trying to receive your order.
